Seems like a lifetime ago I trekked down to Ga St to watch him lead the Paladins to an almost upset.
Right! What was it? 5 -6 years ago? He played his best game as a Paladin that night. Love to know the true story on his leaving. His choice? or Furman’s? Glad the kid turned out to be a good QB. He had a lot of promise while here.

Started 11 of 13 games, including the Paladins’ game against Georgia State, when he had his best game of the season ... Hit 16-of-25 passes for 311 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 53 yards and a score in the Panthers’ 48-42 win and was named SoCon Offensive Player of the Week and STATS FCS National Freshman of the Week ... Helped Furman to an 8-5 record, at-large berth to the FCS playoffs, and No. 16 ranking in the AFCA Coaches final poll...Passed for 1,222 yards and 13 touchdowns while rushing for 316 yards and five scores on the season ...
