If the Furman Administration is really serious about utilizing basketball and the Timmons renovation to highlight the University then I would assume they would take the generous offerings by donors and make up the difference with a bond offering ( done by lots of other institutions). What other business would turn down free money to finance 75% of a capital improvement?

Not really anything new except this coming basketball season will be played in Timmons and hopefully construction starting in March. Greenville invitational back next year if opponents can be fiund.
