Good write up on Miller. Packers bringing in some purple?

"Sure, but what did he do against better competition? How about 13 catches for 95 yards and one touchdown at Clemson.

According to Pro Football Focus, he was 7-of-10 on contested-catch opportunities and averaged 6.0 yards after the catch.

He had a strong week at the Hula Bowl, including two catches and one touchdown in the game.

Miller will play receiver in the NFL. He ran his 40 in 4.48 seconds with a Relative Athletic Score of 6.97."

Todd McShay ranks 350 prospects

https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2023/insi ... osition#wr

Ryan Miller ranks as the #71 WR prospect.

One thing I thought was odd is that Dominc Roberto is listed as the #4 fullback.

Roberto is still firmly on Furman's roster unless there's something I'm not aware of.
If McShay is even close in his rankings then Miller has no chance of getting drafted. Not on his top 350 and only 259 get drafted. Rank #48 WR is his #350 prospect. Free agent is probably better for Miller anyway.

My guess is he knows where he is going as an UFA. If someone doesnt draft him. Probably has two or 3 teams talking to him. I'm guessing he ends up in Jacksonville.

All it takes is one team to like him just a little more. My call is it’s 50/50 he gets drafted late but will def be in someone’s camp.

Why? Jacksonville is on the rise. The joke of a head coach is long gone.

I've seen Miller mocked a couple of times, but most mock drafts don't have him being taken. He had great numbers at his workout. I think he will certainly sign as an UDFA this year.

I spoke with Dominic during spring practice and not only was he looking forward to the coming FB season at Furman but he intended to enroll in one of our grad programs and play into 2024. That was a few months ago and things could have changed. I will ask next time I run into him. #4 FB pick is very high and could certainly be an influence.

Having Trevor as the QB is the reason Ryan would be a great fit there. If you want Ryan to be successful, pull for it to be in Jacksonville.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
