I don't know if it's feasible but I've been secretly hoping that if Furman had to play a season (or part of a season) outside of Timmons that we would play our home slate at the Wellness Center.

this - marketing 101. I think a game vs USC or Clemson or really anyone - Wofford or Citadel would get more community involvement at the well..

I don't keep up as much w basketball - do we know the size of the 'new timmons? I don't want it too big. empty seats don't look good. Better to be loud and proud and on top the other team. Honestly, Duke and Clemson at 9k and 10k are much more intimidating than say UNC and UK at 20K plus or wherever. I have been to some and its more an arena than an intimidating on-top-of-you atmosphere

We keep hearing the same as Timmons currently(2,500) which we all know will be a huge mistake. Sounds like the big mistake 25 years ago will be repeated just in a diffetent way.

We do play Wofftard there, it drew 6,200 this past season for that game

Clemscum and USC will never play us there, that has been proven that every P6 we have offered won't come, they scared to get blown-out

I think the renovation of Timmons should allow for 5,500 capacity for basketball. If that’s impossible architecturally, then raze it and rebuild.

I don't think Coach Richey would have said anything if he wasn't sure of something big being announced. April 15 is within the next 30 days, so all is good. It sure would be nice to begin construction in April.
