You have a point, but it streamed live on Youtube for free which allowed it to be viewed easily by literally anyone without requiring them to be paid subscribers to something like ESPN+.
So is it as good as the network TV stations, no. However, did it garner more attention and eyeballs than ESPN+, YES!

Just in case the “boring Final Four” chatter nonsense causes anyone to fret the Paladins shined on a dull stage, the ratings for the tourney while Furman was in it were the highest ever.
Men’s tournament scores largest first round audience on record … The complete first round of the tournament averaged a combined 9.2 million per window

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage

GoPaladins.com is not affiliated with Furman University or its athletics programs.
