VanderWal isn't a guard. Frontcourt players are much more likely to get early PT under Richey.

Bothwell is a SG that plays 34mpg, minutes will be open for the taking if one of those guys comes in ready to play.

Also VerbalCommits has finally updated all rosters lol

https://www.verbalcommits.com/schools/furman
Sadly still has Joe, Garrett, Marcus, and Johnny as Sophomores

They are Sophomores eligibility wise, Covid year did not count against anybody and Marcus and Jonny took redshirt years freshmen season as well
Interesting that they don't just list their class and then add a fifth year if they take the covid year

Are the 2022-23 juniors entitled to an extra year due to COVID?

Would presumably give Marcus Foster, Garrett Hien, Joe Anderson, and Jonathan Lawrence and extra year if they wanted it.

All Players that were on the 2020-2021 Roster get a 'free' year of eligibility, if they choose to use it.

Wonder if there is any chance of us landing in a tournament similar to the Charleston Classic for next year? Has the Myrtle Beach invitational field for next year already been announced? How about others?

"Bob Richey has a thing about finding the right dudes for the right position at the right time. Bronson’s commitment to the Southern Conference school is one of the most significant mid-major pledges in the class of 2023. The 6-foot-3 combo guard is the type of guard who shines in the SoCon, one of the best mid-major leagues in college hoops. Bronson is a winning play kind of guard from a winning program. He hails from Tampa Catholic, a scholastic system that properly prepares players for championship-level performances in college. Bronson was one of the best guards that I saw at our events this season and someone who should be hailed as a major addition to this year’s class. "

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
