This is amazing:
"J.P. hasn't practiced in about two weeks. Justin Games, our trainer, (who's helped Pegues get ready to play) is one of the best in the country. J.P.'s dealing with some things that he just continues to fight through," Richey said. "He's competitive as they come. He's averaged 21 (points per game) over the last four and he's just gotten better (playing) all year."

I think the 4 games in 4 nights is a factor but overrated too. These are 20 year olds, they don’t get tired after a night’s/day rest they will be ready to go. Remember our tenth place team played 4/4 and the title game went down to the wire.

Go Furman !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In retrospect having watched Wofford UTC I do think I woulda preferred Woffd.. we know what they bring etc. known entity. UTC has an unknown in the returning star. And that dude is a killer. He can put up 30, receive the entry pass and no one is tall enough to get in his field of vision, pass from the high post, rebound.. dude is averaging 22 points in his first few games back... and is the part that runs that offense Good they have played 4 in 4 days.. Maybe that helps - didn't look tired last night though. Stephens (?)

I noticed last night that Pegues was limping a little after the game. Hopefully, we're not the ones fatigued after a very tough win. And with UTC shooting over 50% through 3 games fatigue doesn't look to have bothered them. So much has been made about Both and Slaw coming back but Stephens has a similar story.

Definitely feeling more apaladin than Hoopla going into this one.
