VMI is not good. They started 4 freshmen but still was within striking distance with 6-7 to go. I contribute the slow start to the layoff but not sure that is the reason.

If they'd penetrated our D I would agree with you, but our D was consistent all game. I'm happy.
VMI is terrible! I have a hard time seeing them beat anyone in the conference. No height at all except # 44 who has the worst shooting form I have ever seen by a college player. They are terrible-starting 4 freshmen. Good high school teams would destroy them.

When a team cannot shoot coaching generally won’t help that. We are just not good. I predict we go 12-6 in conference at best. 42 years and counting. It just is not going to happen this year.
And I stand by what many fans say- a very slow start for us this year. I predict it will be year-long.

Most teams will look bad against Furman. Paladins faired much better against VMI than a ton of their opponents have faired this year indeed.

Absolutely! Just one man’s opinion. Many would prefer I predict we go 18-0 in conference play. Not worth upsetting folks. Maybe I have been watching too much NBA basketball. We just seem terribly inconsistent. Onward and upward.
You don’t have to predict anything. You could, you know, just root for the team instead of saying the season is over because they missed some shots. They WON by 20+ points. Just sit this out and come back next year.

I think the first half we were pretty stagnant on offense. Passed up a lot of good shots. Second half the Paladins played at a much faster pace and started making shots. That is our MO. Doubt we will win many games when MB and JS have under 20 points combined. In the second half when MB was fouled hard going up for a layup why did he not shoot free throws. Should have been a flagrant foul.
