Another 2 days to try to somehow get ready for the big stage at Williams-Brice.
Just hoping we can get a win in the Thursday night TTU GAME.

Just glad they are FCS and not division 2. Anything below FCS are killer games for us meaning they don’t help us getting in the playoffs at all.
I doubt there's a concerted intention to schedule sub-D1 games. We rarely do it.

At the same time, with the fluctuation of teams moving divisions and conferences, I'm not sure we are going to be able to guarantee a knock out schedule every season.

Maybe JD will have his Stadium Lighting upgrade in place by then.
My ignorance here. I don’t listen to AD podcasts etc.

We have a stadium lighting upgrade in place? Big money thing or what??
Thanks in advance !!

Don't listen to AD podcasts? Why :?: And don't tell me because you don't have the time ;)

FU has its best AD in our history right now!

Where can I find the full season schedule for next year?
Is it even decided yet by the slow SoCon? FBS SCHEDULES.com/Furman shows the 3 OOC games and dates; the other 8 are SoCon, presumably dates still TBD

https://fbschedules.com/2023-furman-football-schedule/

Best you’re gonna get until…
1) SoCon releases the full schedule OR
2) we are able to deductively piece it together from other SoCon schools releasing their schedules OR
3) Furman releases the Furman schedule ahead of other SoCon schools and the SoCon release

Also…
1) seems the date of the date of the game with the LameCocks seems to have 2 options (at this link - fbschedules.com … but seems solidly & only 9/9 everywhere else)
2) KennySaw Owlets might cancel cuz they’re all big-time FBS now…big time wannabe’s, that is. FUBeAR thinks we should renegotiate and make them pay us our standard FBS ‘fee’ - at least 500k … or cancel on them 1st. ;)

Agree. By the way, regarding FBS “fee” being in the $500,000 area - I’ve noticed that Citadel has announced future games wi Navy and w Army. Contracts each only about $200,000 I think, and the games are numerous years in the future (is there an inflation adjustment? would not think so) . Surprised they were as low as what I recall. Maybe the Pentagon agrees to send military aircraft to pickup the Citadel team and take them back home, at no cost? (just kidding). You know, maybe like one of those many “essential military training expenditures” for all concerned. (sort of kidding).
