This is posted in the transfer thread, but if people would prefer to keep a thread specifically for Furman players that enter the portal that’s fine. Probably good to close this one or the Jace one so we can keep it all in one place.

Really hoping this stays a very small list though!

That is up to the head coach. If you say you are leaving and the coach signs a replacement with the open scholarship -no return possible. Some coaches might say good luck but you can't come back even if we don't get a replacement. Other times it might be situational - star player might be allowed to return but a reserve could be denied.

Just let the process play out. Blackshear entered the portal last season and returned, for instance.

When I hear about The Portal, I think about last year's Fansville commercial.

"Rico's time is NOW!" the Sophomore proclaims, as he is swept into the vortex.

He played well when he got his chance and will miss him.
But with the depth we have in the running backs room and a using a lot of one back sets, i am not surprised.
