After getting a lot of national attention with the last second victory over Loyola of Chicago, last year's tournament darlings, Furman has a good chance of beating a very depleted Villanova team on Saturday. Last year's national champs looked awful last night and were soundly beaten by Michigan by nearly 30 points. This is certainly not last year's team. Very fortuitous scheduling I would say. Great BB names with mediocre current squads. We will have to shoot much better and take better care of the BB than we did vs. Loyola against a smarting Wildcat team but it is certainly a winnable game based on their performance last night.

Agree Furman has a very good chance to garner some great national exposure from a win over Loyola and now Villanova. This team could do it.

I fully expect to be competitive in this game. Going to be tough to get a win (even with Villanova losing a lot)... The win at Loyola should allow our guys to not be phased by the moment and play with confidence.
