Attendance Today

Did anyone hear about today's attendance? I was disappointed in the number of empty seats, but we were loud and proud! Elon had a decent crowd.

On another note, I am SO proud of this team! I believe in our coaches and players. I was a little concerned when we drew Elon, but our coaches and players proved me wrong. Go get Incarnate Word!

Any attendance today was fine. Numbers are not everything. I think a home game was important for the program. I mean, at 17 year intervals, some of us won’t be here for the next home playoff game at that rate. That is ridiculous.

Makes today’s streaming difficulties doubly frustrating. Students at home, away from the FM dial, were unable to listen-in & get hooked on Dan & team calling the action.

If we win our game and Richmond beats Sac St then you have two non seeded teams. I guess they then bid on it like the first round games?

Unless FUBeAR is mistaken, the bids for all rounds (except 2nd Round & Championship games, of course) are submitted by all possibly included Teams (that wish to bid) at the same time as the 1st Round bids are submitted. Doubtful Richmond had to bid too aggressively to have ‘won out’ over Davidson, while Furman may have had to have been aggressive to ‘beat’ Elon’s bid.
