Mine too. GW will be tough they are 6-5 but 3 losses to FBS. Shoulda beat Coastal, lost by 2 and Liberty, loss by 1. Mercer did roll them albeit early.

We did play Elon twice in the same scenario in 2017 however

Davidson should be coming to Furman
Shame on the FCS if that's not the case
Of course, at the same time, it is the post-season and there aren't going to be easy games. Go play whomever wherever.
Does the committee “send” any team out for the first round games or it is based on the highest host bids? The Jackal wrote: ↑Sun Nov 20, 2022 7:52 amFU Hoopla wrote: ↑Sat Nov 19, 2022 11:04 pmWe did play Elon twice in the same scenario in 2017 however

There is an interesting question of equity that I don't know if the the committee will consider.
Furman is 9-2. They are considered by many to be the first team outside the seeded 8 teams.
Does the committee "reward" that resume with a slightly easier first round game. Do they send the Pioneer League champ to Furman instead of sending the Paladins to play perhaps the CAA's best team - Elon.
