Accurate description by Monday ^
The best part was Bob Richey addressing the crowd and saying we were a big part of an 8.3 statistical "home court" advantage, but he wanted us to be there 15 min early to games and establish FU as the best home court advantage (currently Samford claims that moniker)
The lack of enthusiasm from students was frankly embarrassing. Many were likely there for a chance to win 10K (who would blame them) and left as soon as the last challenge was done. The most entertaining bit was the "knockout game" in which our men's bball players were bounced out first, and a student wearing dress shoes and a tie beat the remaining women's team members.
I know this is the first event of its kind, and I think there were good ideas they can build on, but there was little there for alumni or community members to get excited about if they didn't already know and like the teams/players.
