Gino Appleberry is no slouch. He's a veteran back with some success against us in the past. Same rules apply. He runs the ball enough that our defense would have already prepared for him.

At the same time, not having Ford is a big blow to UTC.

The third string RB for UTC has 10 carries on the season.

Number 11 laughing at our DB. Sad. TV even commented that he took his helmet off and shook his head basically saying Furman DB can’t cover me. He’s right

WAY too many third down conversions by pass. I kinda wish Ford was playing so they would run more. We are showing a real susceptibility to third down pass plays. Too much pass wevare allowing. STOP THE PASS

Really solid opening half. Only downside was really not getting points on the opening drive.

UTC is struggling to run the ball (19 yards on 14 carries). The Mocs have a good QB and good WRs. A lot of their throws are contested and a number of the balls are very well thrown. We've turned them over twice in the pass game.

My impression is that on offense, UTC is under-prepared for Tyler Huff. They don't have a man assigned to him as they sell out to stop Roberto. Huff looks quicker and faster than they are expecting him to be. He's then able to deliver the ball in behind their linebackers. Great overall game plan to this point by Roper.

Totally agree. A couple of those deeper crossing patterns hurt us. #11 is a legit receiver. Quick and crafty. It’s great seeing us get our receivers in the mix. Get the kickoff. A drive and score will set the tone in 2H.

Hopefully we'll make an adjustment on the kickoffs. They've had two kicks that are well short and causing some confusion in the return game.

Nice call. Good drive. Now for the D to lock them down.
