The Paladins completely overmatch VMI, there's no reason the offense should have to out-scheme them.

VMI has no QB, and just aren't very good to begin with. Since they can't move the ball, the more talented Furman offense gets shot after shot against them. Still too sloppy.

no doubt. Our guys are just too much but our DB was looking at making a pick on that play and the VMI WR just undercut and put a foot in bounds. The VMI WR 'made a play - he went and took the ball out of the air'

I continue to be astounded at the poor clock management from our team. We have :23 and 2 timeouts and manage a QB scramble, lollygagged back to the line, spiked the ball, and instead of using a TO to turn 8 seconds into 2 plays, we take a sack. There is no killer instinct and very poor decisions in the waning minutes of the half (or the game)
