Nice to see all the enthusiasm and verbiage, but I am still interested in the reality as it unfolds. Also, we had some very good teams in the mid -seventies.

Of course the 70's were very good

The. 70’s were not good. They were great. Once upon a time we won at Clempson by 19 and then beat UNC and NC State in an 8 day period.

Absolutely were great.
At the time, we did not realize how great the 70's were.
Even though happy about 2023, I do not anticipate 2023 eclipsing many, if any, of those 10-12 years.

Yes, waiting for the reality at the end of the season, INCLUDING how we actually do in the NCAA Tournament, and INCLUDING how we do in being able to retain our coach.

We went 1-7 in the NCAA's back then, and also Joe Williams (our successful coach) left for Florida St.

Right now 'Clempson' is scared to play us and we've got a good bit to be proud of so far recently as well, hopefully much more to come including an NC St. scalp this season

I am as excited as anyone but cautiously optimistic. Still think there are many questuons to be answered. Bothwell and Slawson show up every game. Who else is ready for that? Anyone on the team is capable of having a good game but who can join MB and JS and show up every game? We seem to have conveniently forgotten we lost 2 really good shooters both who are overseas playing professional ball.
