Game was never scheduled for espn+. Has always been listed as espm3. This game will come down to mental toughness and who is ready to play. No doubt Citadel will be ready and be mentally tough. The question is will Furman be ready. Last week FU failed miserably on the mental toughness part. I expect if Furman wins it will be through the air. I do not have a good feeling going into this one. Hope the Paladins prove me wrong.

Need to play our game and limit turnovers.

We'll need the offense to play well. I don't think the Citadel has the firepower to turn this into a high scoring game. They're going to want this to be a low scoring grinding affair.

If we score 25 we win. Sammy is an exception that you might need 30. Most others 25 will do and today maybe 20 is a win

DiMaggio starting at Spur, but that's more a product of the opponent, I think.

Gilby, McCormick, DiMaggio, and Clark at linebacker is a pretty big physical group.

The bellhops on Sat will be just 2 days shy of going a complete month, during the heart of Football season, without scoring a single point. On Family & Ring Weekend in front of a sellout crowd in their half-a-stadium, the SamsoniteSlingers will score this week!

Final Score: Furman 52 - CIT 3

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
