Keep in mind that is just one ballot. Don’t expect to see FU in the poll when it comes out tomorrow. Here’s why: FU was at #37 going into this week. Only 3 teams lost from 21 to 36. The coaches poll is even worse, FU was #32 going into this week and only one team lost from 21-31 and that loss was to an FBS/SEC team. Hope I am pleasantly surprised but doubt they break in.
Really wish ETSU had beaten Citadel. They would have been highly ranked and losing to the Paladins could have possibly meant 5 teams getting into at least the top 30 (if not top 25). Furman looked like a ranked team to me the last 2 weeks. Furman’s most likely big win against CSU this weekend probably won’t do anything for you (good or bad) given their season so far, but good luck. The SoCon needs ranked teams and OOC wins, especially after VMI’s loss to Cornell.
