Without having a dog in the fight you, still get horrible calls even in the final 4. With about a minute left and Duke up one a NC player is off balance near the lane throws the ball towards the basket, falls down and gets the foul call. I thiught in real time it wasn’t a foul and replay confirmed it, no one touched him. This hapeened on the left side of the lane and the ref that called the foul was on the baseline to the right of the lane. No way he could see if it was a foul or not. NC made 2 free throws and took the lead for good. Even in great games bad calls often decide the outcome. Lesson: in trouble? Heave it toward the basket and fall down, chances are you will get the call.
