Thanks for correcting my mistake. All of these games have fried my brain. It was Texas A&M that is making the run.

We all know how that would feel.Davemeister wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 9:21 amAn interesting dilemma.
If Furman doesn't get into the NIT and we pack it in for the year, at least the program and its supporters know that our team didn't leave anything on the floor in Asheville - we finished with a BANG, not a whimper.
How would it feel to sign up for a pay-to-play in order to prolong our season only to be eliminated by someone like . . . let's say Wofford?
Still, a win in that 1 game, plus 1 more such as Winthrop or Navy or another regular season conference win would have gotten us in NIT. As previously stated, for Furman, every regular season game is important.Roundball wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 3:57 pmThanks for correcting my mistake. All of these games have fried my brain. yep. unfortunately an underperforming VA even if below Dins will probably get the eye candy nod.stonemd wrote: ↑Sun Mar 13, 2022 10:22 amCurrent Record, NET and KenPom
Furman 22-12, 80, 75
teams projected in NIT
Virginia 19-13, 83, 83
Drake 24-10, 81, 84
Richmond 22-12, 82, 85
Oregon 19-14, 76, 79
Belmont 25-7, 71, 82
St Bonaventure 20-9, 85, 88
Rutgers 18-13, 77,74
so if committee actually pays attention to the rankings we may be ok
Clemson and SC are currently out of NIT projections
