What struck me was how similar the 2 Citadel games were and the chief difference was that Furman reserves played much better. Furman once led the 1st game by 41 points. I thought at the time it was impressive that the guys at the end of the bench didn't play selfishly; they just didn't play well. This time they did. Richey has managed to squeeze in a good bit of future development this season.
My anticipation of next season is probably more sanguine than most.
Which is just ... irrelevant right now.
It's time to go now. The future is now, as George Allen once said. Come to think of it, I bet a lot of coaches have said it. It's grammatically untrue, of course, like many things coaches say. Undoubtedly, it is time to take them one at a time.

Rebounds: Brown 14, FU 14. Broen is a really good tough player. A shame he wasted his career at Citadel.
Narrator : Furman was leading the game 75-46.
Not true, was early second half, still a 9 point game. The point was that you missed was Brown is a very good player but his career was wasted in Chucktown,

You’re just lying now. It was NEVER a 9 point game in the second half. Just stop posting and cheer on the Dins. Go complain about the lack of rebounding (in a 34 point win) to literally anyone else.

Rare coincidence:
Furman’s Hunter (Alex) and Clemson’s Hunter (Chase) each led their team in scoring today in victory. Alex led Furman over Citadel with 20, while Chase led Clemson over BC with 23.

Citadel should be favored. Homecourt and they are playing better at the moment.
Great Furman crowd today. We turned McAlister Fieldhouse into Timmons. The Paladins were more vocal than the bellhops. Probably less than 75 bellhop trainees present. Of course we had more to cheer about. Wait for ESPN’s Top 10. If the Slawson block on one end and the Garrison to Slawson alley oop slam on the other end isn’t #1, ESPN missed a great sequence.

Brown is a great player. He is involved in youth ministry at his church and could come back for his covid year. We might just have to see him another year. https://www.postandcourier.com/sports/c ... 68d2b.html

Ok I was wrong it was a 12 point game at the 17:04 mark when Brown got his 14th rebound, I was 3 points off but the poster that said it was a 29 point game was 17 points off. Not a big deal. So rude to call someone a liar. Did you call FU3 a liar when he said it was a 29 point lead when this happened? I never attack other posters or call them names regardless.

Apaladin “not true”

PP “you’re lying”

Apaladin “how dare you call me a liar?”

Go Dins. Win it all.
Saying something is not true or incorrect is different than calling someone a liar. It’s ok.

I blocked a couple of folks so I have to assume everyone is focusing on the big win over the Bulldogs? Seriously, I just watched the game again. That was a thing of beauty. We got our mojo back and will win the tournament next weekend. All Furman fans need to be in Asheville next weekend to support these fine young men. The weather is supposed to be good. It's an easy drive and Asheville is a beautiful and welcoming city. Go Paladins!

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
