Don’t think it matters UTC has the tiebreaker. We blew our chance with the 3 game skid. FU would have 2 win 2 remaining games and UTC would have to lose their 2. Not happening.

Think with Chat loss and 2 Dins wins, Dins would be co-conf champs. SD thinks this happened last Reg Season conf championship

Determining Regular-Season Champion and AQ if No Tournament
 Regular-season champions are the teams posting the best won-loss percentage against Conference opponents
(minimum 10 conference games for men’s basketball and 8 conference games for women’s basketball);
 In the event of identical percentages, preference is given to the team playing the most conference games;
 In the event of identical percentages and the same number of conference games played, the AQ will be determined
by utilizing the conference’s current tournament seeding criteria;
 Co-champions will still be recognized if teams post identical conference records;

UTC would still get the auto bid to the NIT FU would not. Co regular season champs yes but still would get tbe #2 seed. If we take care of business last Saturday FU would have a one game lead with 2 to play instead of vice versa.

Not so fast...If Chatty loses last 2 and FU wins last 2, FU 13-5 and Chatty 12-6. We would be outright SoCon Champs.

It ain't over till its over.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
