Ya know.. after a while, losing dont feel so bad.

It used to be really really sad, but now, after some practice, SD can live with it

Good for you. The team is neither as bad as it looks right now or as good as it looked a few weeks ago. When the 3 pointer is the focal point of your offense, games like this are going to happen. If we make just 2 or 3 of the 3 pointers we missed in these last 3 games, we win them all. Today might have been the bottom. Between missed 3s and unforced turnovers there was no way we were going to best UTC today.

Real good news... CIT beats VMI. Dins have a little room now to finish 2nd which is huge!

The Good News:

Despite a horrific week we are still in second place.

Like every year it is going to boil down to the tourney.

We have a couple of weeks to try to “find our game.”

Slawson is not perfect but he is a pleasure to watch. He has really developed over his time at Furman. Sure hope he can come back.

We could still have the best season we have had in 40 plus years.

I am confident we will not give up.

Might have been the bottom.
There’s always hope of that.
Furman might still win the SoCon Tourney.

Um, did you already forget they just beat us at home?
That was the point. 4 conference losses at home but FU couldn’t beat them there.

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
