In the last 8 minutes or so, they outscored us by what, 24 to 6 ?
Hoping that doesn’t indicate a weakness that will be much more damaging to us in a future situation during the next 6 weeks.

While Hughey's -16 +/- looks awful, his defensive stats look pretty good overall. Tied for Rebound honors with 5, 1 block & 2 steals. His 23 minutes are right behind Anderson's 24 for the most. Not sure why his +/- is so lopsided compared with others with most minutes. I'm sure our coaches will be on it.

43 point lead at 89-46 turned into a 19 point win, outscored 37-13 after that. CBR said he pulled the guys 4 mins early, Still subs need to play hard and they didn’t . A complete blowout like this should not leave a bad taste in your mouth but it does. The first 25 mins were awesome.

Tonight’s game is a good example of why you should not bet on games. Spread was 16 team was up 43 in the second half, and you are countng your money and then was one 3 point shot away from not covering and had to sweat it. Anyone notice that Alex Williams played tonight for the first time in a long time?

The starting rotation was dominant, so I don't think there's too much of a negative takeaway, despite the late game performance. As CBR has mentioned this season, it's hard for guys to play well when they go in for short stints here and there. He wasn't happy with the ending of course. Still, always preferable to have 'teachable moments' during a win, rather than a loss.

I agree it will be a motivator. CBR can point each of our reserves toward their +/- stats, without shame and with only upside, as the team celebrates the thrashing imposed by our 1st string & most of our 2nd. And reclaiming 1st place to boot! All good !!
