Glad to see us finally get a lead , and then put the pedal to the metal . It was truly a team victory.
Slawson was awesome on D. The little terriers were intimidated.
Go Dins
Usher told us when we took our seats that it was a sellout. Yep, Wofford math. Great Furman crowd. Leaving was easy. The Wofford fans left early. Kudos to Furman for passing out free tickets to students.MidlandsPaladin wrote: ↑Sat Jan 22, 2022 7:39 pmDid he really just say capacity crowd? Wofford math.
Prolly was a sellout but like at FU a lot of no shows. Looked like people were standing. Lots of empty seats around half court. Season ticket no shows.Flagman wrote: ↑Sat Jan 22, 2022 9:40 pmUsher told us when we took our seats that it was a sellout. Yep, Wofford math. Great Furman crowd. Leaving was easy. That is a big change. Margin of victory seems to be a bigger part of Pomeroy's ratings compared to others. It is also possible that the teams have connected. Pomeroy includes last year's results until all of the teams in D1 can be connected with each other by a string of scores. That usually happens in mid to late January. There is often a noticeable shift in rankings when that happens.
WC was #94 so they fell 21 spots.tya1 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 22, 2022 10:53 pmThat is a big change. Margin of victory seems to be a bigger part of Pomeroy's ratings compared to others. Wofford fell from around 103 to 115.
Great to see so many guys playing well the past couple of games. If Hunter, Bothwell and Garrison had been shooting a bit closer to their averages this could have been a 40 point margin.
Remarkable improvement. Just after our VMI loss Ken Pom had us at 121.
Good move up for our Paladins. https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketbal ... t-rankingsPaladinPower wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 10:28 amFurman up a whopping 15 spots in the NET from 94 to 79.
