100 % should have won. Slawson lost rebound out of bounds when no white Jersey was close by. Missed a wide open 3. Got ball stolen when he was backing defender down. Lazy inbounds pass by Alex. Garrison missed 3rd FT and wide open 3. Just did not finish strong in the last 5 minutes. Hopefully will learn from this. As always, it all boils down to the conference.

GREAT game by Alex. They shut him down after his 30th point and 8th 3 falling down. We should have won.

Missed two wide open threes, yes, but man, we had WAY too many turnovers. We have to take better care of the ball.

I was proud at how we rebounded. It seemed like we competed on the boards better than the UNC game.

I’m disappointed that it slipped away. We have talent and will win a lot of SoCon games.

Agree the 3 unforced turnovers, I think it was 3 in the last 3 minutes was the reason we lost. The killer was the one with 3 and a half to go up 6. Score on that possession and it would have been tough on MSU. Not scoring in the last 2:20 didn’t help. Down 18 I guess we should be happy we came all the way back and should have won but somehow I’m not feeling it right now. Maybe tomorrow. Oh well at least we covered the spread for a change.

Don’t know if I’ve heard CBR as disappointed as he was tonight, He knows we should have won. Even the refs we missed 2 wide open 3’s that would hwve probably won the game, I think it is time to move Williams into the starting lineup. He hustles and seems to really be in the game.

Coach was surprisingly candid about his disappointment with the hustle of some of our guys. Paraphrasing: "Rebounding isn't so much about height as about hustle. We made a decision at the half to play guys who are hustling. We have a standard and if it's not met, you don't play, regardless of height disparity." FU shot 54% for the game and 52% from 3 and lost. The difference MST shot 21 free throws to FU’s 5. Outscored from the free throw line 14-2. FU only went to the free throw line twice. Hien was 0-2, Garrison 2-3.

Yep, You’re not supposed to have one starter outscore the other 4 starters by 5 points. Hunter had almost half of the teams points. Slawson had 13 points and 8 boards buf his 8 turnovers were a killer. Garrison finally got to double figures then Bothwell and Foster only contributed 2 points between them. I am liking Alex Willuams more and more. Since Hien has disappeared and Foster is hit and miss at best, why not give Williams a start?

I love watching Williams play. He gives his all every play. Plays with the intensity of Jordan Lyons.
