As I see it (worthless I know):
PROs this year headed to 2022-
-OL returns 4 starters
-All RBs return minus Wynn including Roberto who is emerging.
-Miller at TE and Harris at WR return
- our RUN D is awesome at times. Love what Vaughn is doing there
- hopefully we have three scholarship QBs next year and Wilson is improved with off season
CONs or needs if that a better phrase:
- Ô showed some improvement but DON’T BE FOOLED. Any year with two games of THREE points we better be doing some serious self reflection on offense !!!!! Better hit at least the 14-20 mark in every game next year
- Clearly need a better passing game vs better teams where our run game gets jammed up
- we need a better Pass D. We do. Western hung 43. VMI hung 31. Sammy posted 35. today was much better. Though in the end they got 35. All the passing teams score and move up and down the field A LOT. I think VMI had about 450 yards just passing!! That’s not sustainable if we want to win. Thankfully Samford had a horrific run D.
- Need a pure speed guy - Someone to get a KOR threat for us. A Mims type who is always a threat to take it..
- Yeah, I know. A play here or there maybe we get an invite to a. 24 team playoff at 7-4. I get it. But I suspect we would exit those playoffs quickly. Let’s get to where we expect to win a game or three in the playoffs.
