But unfortunately 0 % chance of getting it when pass was so far out of bounds.

Except for the first two possessions of the game and the above 4th down call, for the first time all year I just had a peace about us looking like FURMAN teams of old. We will see what happens in the second half but I would say that was our best half of the year.
We had a pretty good guy getting 3 or 4 carries a game the first half of the season.. #8 is the real deal!

Roberto really worked hard on his conditioning, he doesn't look like the same guy as last season. Absolute beast now.
Furman's offense should have put the game away in that half. They did pick it up in the 2nd quarter, and I don't think Samford's defense will be able to stop the run game.
Fantastic job by the defense. Welch has been in that system forever and surely wanted to go out with a win. Hatcher's job status is shaky. Not an easy offense to shut down under those circumstances.

Well we recovered from first drive pass D. Great!! Weird trend … We do that a lot - our worst pass D is often on first drive or so. Our radio guys said same thing
