Some tough games between now and Dec. 14, but that game FU at UNC Dec. 14 on ESPN2 is looking like a dandy

What an awesome win for the team. It's early, but we are now officially a basketball school.
It’s been that for a while now but we just didn’t want to admit it.
Love the win! CBR and the guys make us proud! But I must have missed something , We've won how many Socon BB championships in the last 40 years?
Always a debbie downer!

UNC beat Brown by 7 Ftiday. Brown led most of the game. Like you said, lots of games between now and then.

Glad we did not fold late and finally get over the hump and win one of these big games. We had every opportunity to do so.

Hope we can develop some of these other players as we need more depth.

Bothwell is a stud and almost unstoppable when he brings his A game.

It's not really a question of "folding" in my opinion. From my view, against these bigger programs the script has frequently been the same - back and forth game until the fouls start racking up on our key players. Eventually, they foul out and our depth/size becomes an issue late.

What seemed the difference last night is Louisville never really went after any of our guys in foul trouble late in the game. Some of that was tenacious defense on the perimeter.

Furman beat Louisville on the glass. They made more shots from distance. They shot more free throws. And they led for longer stretches of time. They were better.
Apparently [the Cards] didn’t get the memo that Furman was legit.

Maybe I am alone, BUT (big but) it seems to me that if you are in a situation where you are on the cusp of a big win, score tied, 5 seconds left, ball in the hands of your top offensive player, it is not a good time to call a timeout.
Not even trying to suggest that I would be a better coach than our guy, with whom I am well pleased.
