Halftime thoughts:
1. Hats off to the coaching staff. Making the change at QB wasn't easy, but Wilson has looked excellent. They are also not asking him to do too much. He's running the offense, but they are getting him outside the pocket and giving easy reads. At this point, Wofford hasn't eliminated anything from our offense.
2. Offensive line has barely let a Wofford defender anywhere near Wilson.
3. Wilson's run threat opens up things for Wynn. Their linebackers have to respect the outside run and can't crash into our backfield.
4. Wofford's defense already looks gassed before half time. Furman has run twice as many plays as Wofford. 5.3 yards per rush and Wynn is finishing those runs by running over Terrier defenders. Don't get cute in the second half. Punish them.
5. Defensively, we have to limit their ability to break tackles. We've seen their offense. That's what they've got. Don't get greedy. Get the man on the ground. They will eventually give up a sack or misfire on a pass. Force them to drive the field and not give up long plays. It looks like we've settled in a bit on D.
Second half, just keep doing what we're doing. Limit the big play, run the ball, let the Terriers wear themselves out.
