According to twitter we have visited 6' 3" G Zocko Littleton, Jr who had decommitted from Memphis earlier this month. Other interested teams were: Utah, George Washington, Georgia and Kent State.

Our last listed offer, Tom House, recently had official visits to UGA and Florida State. It's probably safe to say we are no longer in the running for him.

Before committing to Memphis Zocko Littleton had offers from Xavier, Mississippi State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Alabama, Georgetown, Wichita State, Seton Hall, and Wake Forest among the two dozen or so offers listed for him. Memphis was one over the scholarship limit according to the chart at Verbal Commits. It is possible they had some players stay that they thought were going to transfer or go pro.

Tom House has committed to Florida State. He had 14 prior listed offers.

House was rated a "2-star" level recruit until now, but has suddenly jumped to "3-star." Funny how that works.

Does anyone know if the coaches intend to offer anyone else for this class? There are several guys on the radar, including Zocko Littleton.

Davis Molnar is listed at 6'7" 200. He is from Sanford HS in Fayetteville, NC and had offers from Mississippi, Lehigh, Elon, and Campbell according to Verbal Commits. Also has interest from Virginia, NCState, Iowa, Davidson, Belmont, UNCC, AppState, Liberty, and Air Force.

From his highlights he looks like a versatile forward with some nice post moves, an outside shooting touch, and good passing abilities. Moves well without the ball too. As a junior he averaged 16.8 ppg, 10.8 rebs, and 6.4 assists. He is a two sport star. So far he has scored 23 goals in 12 games for the soccer team this season.

Anyone know if he is related to Sandor Molnar, who was a professor at Furman in the 1970's and 1980's?

Molnar is ranked as the 25th best prospect in NC by the Phenon Hoop Report. In 2020, Garrett Hien was 26th.

Here's Molnar being interviewed by former FU asst coach Tyler Lewis:

Physically he looks more like a high major player right now than most of our recruits coming in usually do (Bothwell and most of this years freshman class fit that mold too).

Looking at these highlights, the jumper might need a little work (seems a bit slow with a low release point), but man can he move and pass. Some of the dishes in here would make Rafferty proud. Can't wait to see him in a Furman jersey.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
