First half observations (from my TV):

* Nice job by the NC A&T fans. They brought a good number with them. Most since the last time we hosted the Citadel I'd guess.
* Sisson looks much more decisive with his throws.
* Throwing downfield -- love it.
* FU throwing to the running backs -- love it even more.
* Unnecessary penalties are still a problem, personal foul on the opposite side of the field on a 3rd and long pass out of bounds and the offensive PI inside the 5 yard line to name a couple.
* Need more consistency on offense. One good series then we slow down on the next. Gonna give some credit to NC A&T defense here -- their run defense is stout.
* Paladin defense looks as good as advertised. Maybe the offense can help keep them off the field more this season.

Shame we could not do more but the half looked a far sight better than we did at the end of spring. D has been awesome. Offense has had moments. Hamp hasn't been running for his life.

I see a lot of improvements. This is generally one of the nation's top defenses, so we are doing ok. Pass protection looks incredibly better.

Disappointing to leave points on the table. Had a ball misfire to an open Deluca and a missed field goal. This should probably be a 17-3 game.

Defense has been as advertised. NC A&T is struggling to find anything that works.

Additional observations: 1) ESPN did miss our 1st 3 plays because they were running commercials. 2) Announcer has been way off on Anderson/Thomas/Bell #'s. Confused as to who is running the ball. 3) Poor clock management @ the end of the half; had 3 time outs and didn't use them in several spots when we should have. 4) Gotta make 40 yard FG from the middle of the field.

Nice play call coming off the interception. Hope we can get the kicking game straightened out soon.

Victory is sweet. First game mishaps can be corrected. Missed fg, blocked xp. Too many unnecessary penalties. If all is clicking we put up 45 on them. Defense is strong. Held them to 335 yards or something like that. They will put up way more than that on other teams.

Sisson throws for 362 and 3 tds. He looked impressive all day and our offense really started putting in plays to punish their defense for stacking the box.

Run game wasn't stellar, but that's one of the nation's best rush defenses. Outside of NC State, that might be best defense against the rush we'll see all season.

Of the two backs, Devin Wynn looked far more the NFL prospect than Jah-Maine Martin. Martin did virtually nothing all day (12 carries for 33 yards). Wynn goes for 75 yards and another 55 in the air.

Hats off to the coaches. We were better conditioned and it showed late in the game. The defense played well all afternoon. The offense had a good game plan and executed most of the day. Our personnel groupings had the Aggie defense confused for much of the game leading to mismatches.

Oh, Harris is going to be a monster.

I’ll take it...got a little ugly at times with mental errors. I like the fact that we have guys that like to mix it up, just have to be smart.
