It's been brutal. Watched every snap. Last fall before the season started I heard people here saying we had Gordon replaced. It was rather cavalier imo. #89 Caused a double team.. that gave the running game space to operate. The running game had zero space this year...ijs. You need athletes at the wide out spot...creates mismatches. Far too much was put on #83 and #82. Those guys should be eating off what your X factor at the wide out does. Yeah.. #89 turned out to be more than some in the program believed..ijs
At least we were not picked to win it all this season AND we improved every game AND we have at least two stellar quarterbacks coming back AND we are loaded with “bigger, faster and stronger” players AND we have proven coaches coming back AND maybe best of all are predicting we will be a top 10 FCS team in the fall.
On a more serious note we could start a Furman hiking club to get sunshine and fresh air on Saturday afternoons in the fall.
