It’s 11:00. WCCP 105.5 says they will discuss Bob Richey rumors in this segment. Probably nothing to it, but wanted to let you guys know.

Discussion was about rumors of BR going to S. Carolina. Sounded like more speculation than normal, especially since there is no opening there. Interesting discussion though, as Coach is highly regarded throughout the country. We need to enjoy him and support while we can.

Nothing official, but could happen. I would think Ok. St. coach Mike Boynton would be the main target for the gamecocks. I honestly can't see a high major school offering CBR until he wins in Asheville, but both the USC and Clemson gigs scare me.

I won’t feel good until he does another podcast. Could be they are hokding off on letting Martin go until they get CBR signed sealed and delivered.

Not a podcast with Dan, but here is a video talk with Fox Carolina that is dated yesterday. 54 minutes long.

The State paper is reporting Martin will be retained. USC cannot afford another buyout.

Probably they can afford it, but it is not important enough because they will be satisfied with having the NCAA Championship in Women’s Basketball.

Doesn’t take much to satisfy them.

Actually, it is reported the state legislature got involved because of money issues. "USC looking to bring back Frank Martin as basketball coach to avoid another large buyout." https://www.postandcourier.com/sports/c ... 8d4dc.html

They are excited that, over next 4 yrs, FB wins vs “Eastern Illinois, ECU, Troy, GA State, Charlotte, Wofford, Furman, Liberty, Old Dominion, Akron, & Vanderbilt”, + wins vs 50% of other scheduled games, puts them in BOWL each yr!
And rightfully excited about the publicity for Women’s Basketball National Championship.

UNC's Roy Williams is retiring. UNCG's Wes Miller is one of many to be mentioned as a potential replacement
