You can't.
Western Carolina, for instance, defended Furman frequently by dropping into a cover 3 look. That allowed them to try to keep more men up against Furman's run game by keeping a deep shell over the top.
If a team defends us that way - and many do - the holes in the defense are frequently outside the numbers and to the sideline. Our QBs have to be able to complete those throws. If the run game stalls, that's where the holes are.
