Flag, you surely know plastic straws are verboten and illegal contraband. You might as well be holding nuclear waste in your flag mitts. No no. No more plastic straws. Don’t get me started. quote=Flagman post_id=36645 time=1613172688 user_id=51]

I'm ready for some February football! A question that I have, that has prolly already been discussed and answered somewhere on here....what about the concession stands? Open? Closed? Prepackaged drinks and snacks? Bring your own? As happy as I will be to be back in the stadium, 3.5 hours is a long time to go with a bottle of water or something.
During the last few years our concession stands wouldn’t provide lids or straws for drink cups.

Anyone have an update on Parking Passes?
I emailed Georgie yesterday and she emailed me back. I was asking about tickets and parking. She said we should hear from them by Wednesday.

Glad season ticket holders are allowed in now. Maybe that will boost season ticket sales if GA won’t be allowed? Not sure I understand the restrictions on tailgating though. Seems you’d be tailgating with the same ppl you’d congregate with before, during, and after the game. I can see not allowing students to tailgate for the numerous COVID violations that would ensue, but the general public tailgates seem pretty harmless to me.

I will gladly forego tailgating for the opportunity to see Paladin football in person. My tailgate crew is around 15 and I trust each of them, but that can’t be said for everyone. Plus, this will save me about 5 hours on game days.

I think we're going to be in for a surprise seeing the physical development of some of our players.
We keep hearing from Clay how hard Hamp Sission worked to be ready for this moment, the Dude has some impressive guns…

Got my Parking Pass in this morning's mail. All systems "GO" for Saturday!
My 77 year old dad has season tickets with me and a few others. He's gotten one shot so far, so he wants to drive separately to the game. Does anyone know who I can contact to help get him into the parking area for this game? I don't want to assume he can simply show his paper ticket to the attendant and get in...we all know how amazing the parking people are for the games

If there is a parking pass give it to him and you youngsters walk from wherever they tell you to park.

Our pass is for the Red lot, which says, General Parking. The paved lot closest to the stadium is purple. Player parents will be in that lot, along with the big donor, I assume.

So...define tailgating :-) Does sitting on the tailgate of my SUV eating a Pete’s cheeseburger and all half and half and chasing it with a Tropicalia count?

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
