Thanks didn’t realize their MVP was missing. Of course I’m sure he will be back and wreak havoc on the Paladins Saturday.

Woffy held to 48 points and 30% from the field and still manages to beat UNCG.
Because UNCG was worse. 34.5% shooting, 4-27 from 3, under 15%, got outscored 21-12 from 3 and 9-1 from the free throw line. That was one ugly game.

UTC was still missing a key player. Citadel shot almost 52% from 3. Citadel’s 6’5” Brown scored 37(7-10 from 3) and had 13 rebounds. Citadel took only 56 shots and and 31 of those were from 3. Ouscored UTC 32-16 from 3. By comparison UTC took 70 shots but only 22 from 3. Obviously the Paladins need to shoot the 3 well and defend the 3 on Wednesday.

Not a SoCon score but an interesting score from the Queen City. Little Belmint-Abbey beat the UNCC 49’ers in OT. This would be like BJU beating Furman.

Maybe it was the opponent, but UNCG has looked better in their couple of games.

Mercer has had some wild swings. They almost came back from that big deficit against the Paladins, they had a big early lead at Chattanooga but lost. They almost lost to Western Carolina despite a 20 point first half lead yesterday.

Chattanooga and Mercer are both missing several good players, which may factor into their recent inconsistencies.

Brewer makes a diference for ETSU. Had 23 tonight 9-16 and 5-10 from 3.
Sammy was up 45-25 at half and gave up 53 second half points and saw WCU come all the way back and take the lead with 5+ to play. Sammy pulled it out 82-78.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
