Fun ride tonight for the Paladins back to campus. Our talent, depth, effort and coaching is very evident in today’s game. Bring on Cincinnati/Go Paladins!
Before the game I would have been thrilled with a 24 point victory. I was feeling greedy by the middle of the second half when we built the lead to 34. I guess 24 will do, though.
Great shooting at a very good time. Now get Mounce knocking them and we will really be cruising.

Before today's game, our average over three games - including games against two D-2's - included the following worst stats:
- 3pt FG per game: 6.3 (we averaged 9.4 last season)
- 3pt FG percentage: 23.5% (we averaged 35.2% last season)
- Turnovers per game: 13.3 (we averaged only 11.5 last season)
After today's game, our updated average over our four games:
- 3pt FG per game: 8.8 (improved our season average by a whopping 2.5. That's what sixteen made 3's will do)
- 3pt FG percentage: 34.7% (improved our season average by 9.2%)
- Turnovers per game: 12.8 (improved our season average by 0.5%)
It would be one thing to post that kind of improvement after playing another D-2 or D-3 ... but those numbers improved on an away game against a quality D-1 opponent. Outstanding.

A complete game. We have played well defensively in all our games and it was there today as well. Looks they were determined to have a good start. Today the shots started falling! Another solid game for Slawson. He looks so much more confident & comfortable. Bothwell is a STAR right now. Very aggressive. Tell me who is playing better in SoCon?
