In early October I returned my PC sign-up info along with a check. So far I have received nothing from the school (no car decal, etc.) confirming my 2020-21 membership and my check has not been cashed. I'm beginning to wonder if I've been blackballed or something.

Anyone else in limbo?

Not sure. Last year I received a notice that I had not completed my pledge. Seems someone applied a payment as a "one-time" gift, not part of my annual pledge.

I actually paid online since I never got a mailing (I did receive one several days later). I got an email confirmation of my payment, but no decals.

I called the Paladin Club last year about the car decals. They are sent out at the end of each calendar year. The one I have now says 2019-2020. The new ones will say 2020-2021 and should be received by the end of the year.

My check to the PC went through yesterday. Looks like I've been accepted! Now let's beat Southern Wesleyan.

I paid my Paladin Club pledge in October, and have not received any decals.

And now it's no longer the Paladin Club, but the Furman Athletic Fund.

That is a terrible decision. Just like the baseball decision.

If you gave over $1000 in the past you got invited to the Bell Tower Ball ... the new amount is now $2500. Does Furman really believe that by increasing the minimums for these and other events there will be a ground swell of more donations? While I think Erin and Jason have done a good job promoting Furman athletics under difficult circumstances , this type of misguided assumption that there is a pent up demand for retaining existing “ benefits” misses the real problem. Furman has a relatively small and aging donor base and continues to have problems expanding it especially with younger alumni.

I was told there were too many attendees at the Ball to keep it going at the $1,000 level. It seems as though the younger alumni are giving in great numbers.

It would seem you are misinformed.
