Those bigger schools scared to play Furman on a neutral court, they are cowards

Playing in a "bubble" with no fans and unable to enjoy attractions of the area. Where's the draw?
It wouldn't surprise me if some of the teams who were supposed to be in the Maui tournament bowed out of going to Asheville. I can't begin to imagine that disappointment.

He’s a little behind, a Nebraska backed out a week ago.
Yes, however he did bring the Dayton and Pitt news to the table

Since looks like could be 3 openings, I wonder if any other big schools in the region would be interested, UF, FSU, Miami, UCF, USF, Bama, Auburn, Georgia, GA. Tech

Probably not, if they think they might have to play Furman.

All these teams have backed out since FU entered the tournament. Clearly, they have decided it is better to stay in the Rust Belt/Corn Belt at the end of November than get their a-es handed to them by FU in sunny Orlando. No other explanation.

Pretty sure that Dayton pulled out last week also.

A twitter search shows Goodman was first to break news about Dayton on Sept. 28

I think ESPN will regret trying to move all these tourneys to one location. Don’t understand the reasoning unless they are trying to be like the nba.

Teams are dropping out of the other tournaments too. Must be due to scheduling conflicts. If this keeps up, there will be only a few teams left. Might as well consolidate all the tournaments down to one.
