Thank you. Hysteria is what we need to save lives, have school, and play football. Carry on with your denial of the truth. Don’t forget to find out the latest advice from your umpire friend. That guy is hilarious.apaladin wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 9:55 amNumber of new cases and rate of increase per population are 2 totally different things. Carry on with the hysteria.Roundball wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 6:11 amFlag is right. “A Post and Courier analysis of pandemic data showed that South Carolina had the world’s fourth-highest rate of case increases, when also accounting for population size, over the past two weeks.” https://www.postandcourier.com/health/c ... ec987.html. It pisses me off that our fellow citizens are unwilling to do the right thing. Americans sacrificed for each other in WWII. Now, we won’t even do 3 simple things to bend the curve, wash our hands, wear a mask and practice social distancing. Sadly, the worst offenders are many of my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I guess they have to blindly follow their “fearless” leader, Trump. Leadership starts at the top. Trump has failed to lead our country.apaladin wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 1:00 amWith all due respect I think you heard that wrong. As usual NC and Ga both reported more new caese than SC on Friday. Just a little commom sense and you realize that Ga, NC and SC are not 1-2-3 in the world in new cases. Florida, California etc are in the 10k a day range.
As for contracts, I’ve read several articles that a pandemic can make the contract null and void. There are still major questions concerning the contracts. This is a good read. https://www.toledoblade.com/sports/coll ... 0200424188
As for the season, assuming the SoCon has no money games this year, can we afford to play? With that income not available, most likely expenses will be more than income for every team. I contend we cannot afford to play this year.
This young man was determined not to believe the hype and hysteria. Warning, the language is rough. https://heavy.com/news/2020/07/richard- ... ssion=true
