Just watched the hudl video of Bir… I can't tell much about the velocity he puts on the ball, but he can put some touch on some pretty deep throws… interesting.

Yeah it looks like they actually slowed down the video in the season highlights. Watch the spring ball and 7on7 drills. Not perfect but better.

There have been a few commitments of offered players to other schools. If these are players I've posted I edit the posts in the recruiting thread to reflect these commitments. Also on offers I run across I just add them to my last post unless there has been activity in the meantime.

There are not that many seniors on this years' team (11) and Furman accepted a few transfers. I also expect one or two of the walkons from last years class who earned a lot of playing time might be in line for a scholarship.

Point being, we may not have a huge recruiting class. We had 10 early signees last year, and likely already have 7 this season. I'd much rather see a smaller more targeted class of guys we want and will fit the program than a huge net cast out there landing guys that aren't good fits.

So, it looks like a lot of quality in the group to this point. I'm sure we'll have a bunch of prospects at the game on Saturday.

I've been following all the commits this season… Barton and Jumper are looking like very big pickups. MBHS is having a heckuva season so far.

I think Jalen Miller is a bit underrated… I think he will prove to be a big pickup.
