I have a hard time feeling super confident that we will win considering the opponent's home court record, but I would consider betting Furman here. I think they'll keep it razer close. With a win ETSU pretty much locks up first place. Not mathematically but for all reasonable scenarios it’s over. They would have a one game lead over both FU and UNCG and hold the tiebreaker over both so essentially a 2 game lead with 3 to play. The FU/UNCG game next week would be for second place.
A FU win would keep it a 3 team race and give FU a one game lead over both ETSU and UNCG with 3 to play. The win would give FU the tiebreaker over ETSU but would still have to beat UNCG next week. A 3 way tie is very possible and If that happens it would prolly take an accountant to figure out who gets first. All the above could change if any of the big 3 suffers an unexpected loss. Lots riding on tonight’s game for sure. FWIW at least one site is projecting both FU and UNCG getting NIT bids.

Why would ETSU hold the tiebreaker over us with a win tonight? We would have split the season series.
