Will hate to see Lyons leave. We have had some really good guards over the last 4 plus years-Croone, Sibley etc.

Will be really tough next year losing Clark, Hunter and Mounce. Hope all of them will have break-out senior seasons.

Winning all these games is nice. But still don’t have a big man. We turn it over like we have butter fingers. On top of that, we shoot too many 3’s, at a low percentage. Then there are those stupid games against DII teams. Do we not have a shooting coach to improve FT % and get Tre straightened out?

What else? Weak against the press. Our gym is a dump and we insist on giving away the home court advantage to play in an oversized Well. And the popcorn is stale. We long for the comfy seats at the Aud.

Other than that, I’m good.

Why can’t everyone just understand and accept our playing style instead of criticizing things they don’t understand? We Shoot too many 3s?? We’re the 7th best percentage shooting team in the country? How well do we have to shoot for you to be happy? We have a 17% turnover percentage which is 59th in the country which is very good. Every team has a certain style of play. We generally play small which is why I assume you say we don’t have a big man even though I would argue Noah Gurley is pretty damn good in my opinion. The style of play you’re complaining about is why Coach Richey set the all time wins record last year and why we are taking teams like Auburn to overtime and competing at a level that we haven’t in recent history. I recall some furman teams pre Bob Richey that did have “big men” and those teams were getting eliminated the first or second game of the SoCon. Accept our system and get on board!
