Samford is absolutely terrible. Feel bad for Sharkey. Averages 17.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 2.4 steals per game and is getting virtually zero help. A game we need to win on the road before a brutal stretch to close the season.

Good point. That is an insane average. Probably trying to do too much.

You're probably right. Baucom's contract is up at the end of this season. Not that hiring someone else will do much good...at least in the short-term.

I think ETSU is the only SoCon team that could get an at-large berth this year, so I hope the Paladins keep doing their thing and get the automatic. Would be absolutely huge for the SoCon.

Actually,...If Furman and ETSU finish No. 1 and No. 2 and the only loss is in that game for Furman or ETSU and they play again in the championship game and the other team that didn't win the first matchup wins a close one in the title game, it's probably more likely to happen this year...Much of that based on last year, too...Furman has two Quad 1 chances remaining in the regular season....If Furman had have beaten Auburn, two bids would be a lock if Furman and ETSU reached the final.

If we would have pulled that Auburn OT game out we would be in the exact same spot as ETSU right now, since we did not I would not expect the committee to do us any favors since we are a small school that did not land a big fish Win
