to Aqualung's point…

Cade freeman has not attended any of the major camps so no ranking to compare. He's a big kid with nice technique but does not appear to have a big leg.
fufanatic, yes there is a ton of opportunity to improve in the off-season especially for a kid this young in his career coming out of HS. Some bloom a bit later than others. Both these recruits (as all kickers these days that are college material) have there own kicking coach that they work with year round. Makes no difference that no coach on staff is a former kicker. Virtually no school at any level enjoys that luxury (except UGA last couple of years when KB was back as a GA). Tough for us to lose Grayson and will be missed big time.fufanatic wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2020 10:10 amQuestion for Aqualung: Is there the potential for improvement during the season for a kicker when no coach on staff is a former kicker, or is much of the improvement done in the offseason with kicking specialists? I really hope we don't lose a game next year because we lost GA.
I'm not overly worried about it. Of course, I'd love to have Atkins for another year.
