After watching many of the FCS playoff games this year-what we need is to be playing HOME playoff games. We last did that in 2004. Sad but true. And I doubt that will change in 2020.

Why on earth wouldn't we go to CSU?

FCS program. Finished 3rd in Big South. In state.
Not about the team, but it's facility. 1,500 seats on home side. Visitors side is recreation field bleachers.
Without question...the worst facilities in FCS. But I'll still take it over any game vs. an NAIA or DII opponent.
This. 100%. It counts as a D1 win. And after the way we finished 2019. We need to get a good start again like this year. I’ll happily take a trip to CSU ! Way better than POINT. We need to face reality. We need two FCS WINS and an FBS check to start OOC

So is CSU a sure thing? . Saw some back and forth on here

Not a sure thing. I'm sure they'll get better under their new coach. But I would think we would be favored, and favored by at least 2 scores. You gotta win it if you want to do anything at all.

fanatic, I think GF was asking if at CSU is a sure thing on the schedule nrxt year, not if they are a sure win, lol. I could be wrong. BTW, Citadel plays CSU the next 3 years, all at the Citadel. I think Citadel played at CSU a few years ago and apparently told CSU, never again.

Nice schedule, thank you for posting it here! Unfortunately seems like I will miss most games as I plan to buy apartment in Phuket Thailand here and will have to travel to that part of the world pretty often to finalise everything and make papers.

Only on the UFFP can you get complaining about a schedule that hasn't been released 9 months before the season starts.

....and apparently the misinterpretation of sarcasm as complaining.

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage

GoPaladins.com is not affiliated with Furman University or its athletics programs.
