I doubt many downtowners follow Furman on Twitter. With all the hype that has come directly from Furman, it’s amazing that no one could get even a small mention of the game in today’s GreenvilleNews, but not surprising.

How were the pre-game festivities? Well attended?
What's the attendance at the game?

That first half was fun!

Good crowd I would say considering we are playing Winthrop

Get the win tonight and I would consider this first step a major success, you can see the potential this place provides for us, we can get near filling this bottom bowl (9k) one day against Wofford or a P5 opponent and this place will be really rocking

This is a big time venue for us in the recruiting game as well

Winthrop got some cheap buckets late as we let off the gas once we got up by 20, but we dominated them when it mattered, that was fun!!

Should have kept foot on throat and blown them out.

Even still, we accomplished everything we could have hoped for, this was a success!

My guess is 2,100 to 2,500 absolutely max. Winthrop is not a drawing card even if they are a good team. Xmas season. I suspect it (folks in sears) will look sort of bad.
I think this might be close. Really depends on students. Another thing is how many season ticket holders show up. If you have a Christmas party you could still go after the game. On Turesday I counted 1,969 tickets sold.
Official attendance (per box score): 2,752

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
