Fascinating... not much of an online fan base it seems. Since the selection show aired and they were announced (FIRST playoff appearance ever), there's been 1 post about it.

With this one our last 8 playoff games have all been on the road, but sure beats the heck out of staying at home watching others play on the tube
Last home playoff game was 2005 first round?
Yes

Surely there is another board? Not only one post but only a handful pf posts all season, less than 50 total.

Not too different than the Wofford board in actuality. Have always been shocked at the low level of activity on their board.

Haven’t been there since stationed at Fort Campbell with the 101st. Probably not going to revisit that whole episode but maybe just the game. Proud of the Dins. Way to go!
Did you know Jimi Hendrix?
I did not. Same era but I had shipped out before he got there. Heard he got his start playing in the Clarksville army beer joints. Real nice places.
Thank you for your service Jasper.

Their attendance is much like ours. Every home game is between 6,300 and 7,500 except one home game that was 8,600. ESPN lists capacity at 8,000, half the size of Paladin Stadium. Their site lists capacity at 10,000.

I wonder is their numbers are inflated too. There is no way we average more than 5,000 butts in seats.

Thank you Jasper. THAT is the perspective I meant. Lots of stuff more important than Little ol football - your service being one of them!!!

Thank you for your military service !

OK - so some very cursory scouting.

Hoping FUBeAR and Jackal etc all weigh in. Feel sure they will in this big game !

One, the QB who is playing is a Senior so he is not young etc but was the designated backup .. He has played the last 9 games or so in full. CRAIG, number 3. They started with Oatsvall #6 a Junior but he got hurt vs Central Arkansas in second game. Craig has been playing every snap since to my knowledge.

They are 9-3 and the OVC Champions.

They beat Mercer 48-34 and took some pick 6s in for scores.. THey lost to ETSU 20-14 in a low-scoring game similar to ours with ETSU (except they came out on the losing end). Both games were on the road at ETSU and at Mercer.

Kentel Williams #5 and Ahmad Tanner #21 are the workhorses at RB.. However, as someone mentioned, Kentel did not play in the last game .. that is something to watch. Do they have #5 on the field at RB?

If I recall ( I am getting old, could be wrong) but the DL was HUGE at Mercer. like 340+ lbs. They jammed the middle up w large boys on DL.

Hoping to get some input from others who have seen them play.

That big DL will be interesting if we blindly run up the middle like we did with our two FCS losses. Hope coaches learned something there and are willing to open up the playbook a bit if the run game is not there between the tackles. I’m sure the coaches will bring the A game this week.
